     I would just like to say how impressed I was on the Salmon Charter April 20th. It was my daughter Cara's 1st experience Charter fishing. You were unbelievable!! Watching you work putting out lines, hooking up the fish, and passing them off to us was like clockwork. You always seemed 2 steps ahead of what was happening. The limit catch we had was a BONUS!! You kept us on the fish all morning and early afternoon. Despite dummy me letting one fall overboard lol. My buddy Scott Wilson catching 2 Kings on one line made up for that though!! To anyone wanting a true unrelenting Captain that does everything possible to make your trip exciting and fun. This is your Captain. Thank you so much for catering to my 11 year old daughter.      Jason, a Big Thanks for a great experience of fishing and super boatmanship on Sunday morning.  Other than a little sea sickness from the kids the experience was a delight and has giving us much to tell the homefolks about.      Jason, Thank you for a great time on Saturday.  You made for a great charter trip.  We were your 2pm charter.  Although we didn't limit out we couldn't have asked for more.  You even put up with the endless talking of my dad.  At 7:30 I expected you to pull gear and head back to dock but you kept going for another hour to try to get a few more fish. I will be calling again if I can get some guys together from work for a little more "party oriented" charter.

     Recently, I booked a surprise fishing charter for my husband and boys.  Wanting to do something special for some milestone birthdays, I landed upon the idea of sending them to do something that they all love.  Figuring out that I wanted to send them on a fishing charter was easy, but figuring out whom to send them to, not so much.  Since we’re not located near a fishing charter community, I spent quite a bit of time on-line trying to find someone trustworthy, of quality and not hours upon hours away from home.  Fortunately for me and for them, I found Double Trouble Charters out of Michigan.  After talking with Captain Jason, I had a true sense of peace that this was the charter for them.  Since they could take the boat out of Monroe, Michigan, it wasn’t too far from home plus, Captain Jason assured me that he would be able to take them to wherever the fish were biting, whether that was in Michigan or Ohio waters.   

      I was 100% pleased with the service from them and the Captain.   To their credibility, we even had to rebook the trip once because the Captain said the waters were not right due to recent storms and he wanted to ensure a quality trip.  He risked losing a sale to maintain quality and to me, that spoke volumes.  From salmon and trout, to walleye to perch, whatever your favorite fish to hook is, Double Trouble Sport Fishing has just the right charter for your family and friends – and your wallet.  It wasn’t the fact that they caught their limit that thrilled me; it was the fact that they were able to do something special on some special birthdays and they were able to experience it together.  They created memories that will well outlast the fish that we fried.  And, to me, that’s the best gift of all.

I have no idea if they are booked or not, but Jason from fishdoubletrouble.com has never done me wrong. I've been outta St Joe for Salmon, (kept 13 on a slow day) and Bolles Harber for walleye(kept 26 and threw back 50+) They move to Ludington for the Fall Salmon. Jason runs double trouble and he's a young captain who loves to share the sport with young and old. No, i'm not getting paid for this, I just believe he does a great job catching fish, and teaching anyone who wants to learn.
