Double Trouble Charters

Much like the walleye season, unfavorable weather conditions made salmon fishing more difficult than it has been in recent years. Charters in 2008 averaged 8-9 fish per outing, with a few limit catches mixed in.  With the baitfish population on the rise, the fish were noticeably larger than they have been in recent years and that trend should continue into the upcoming seasons.  With a little kindness from Mother Nature, these cool water fish will be both plentiful and large for 2009.
