Spring Salmon Charters From St. Joseph, Michigan in Lake Michigan

Lake Michigan | April 14th - May 21st, 2018

The springtime salmon fishing in St. Joseph, Michigan is second to none. As the waters begin to warm in the spring, baitfish flock to these waters, bringing the predator fish with them. During this time charter fishing is phenomenal from all of southern Lake Michigan, especially the port of St Joseph. The warm outflow from the St Joseph River and the Cook Power Plant draw large schools of fish from all around Lake Michigan. Large catches of Coho and King salmon are common, as well as great numbers of Lake Trout, Steelhead, & Brown Trout. But with the short season and low prices, dates don't last long, don't miss out on this amazing fishery!

Fishing Report - 2017 in Review

Fishing from the beautiful port of St. Joe surely didn't disappoint in 2017. Coho Salmon fishing was excellent right out out of the gate and stayed strong throughout our entire spring season. Limit catches of Coho were common on many days along with a nice mix of Lake Trout and Steelhead. The only downfall was the relative lack of King Salmon in our catches, but hopefully with the bait and stocking numbers rebounding this trend will start to reverse itself over the coming years. As usual we'll start fishing in April and do our best to provide a great fishing experience for our guests. We hope you'll join us!
