	Spring Salmon Charters From St. Joseph, Michigan Lake Michigan April 14th - May 25th, 2012 The springtime salmon fishing in St. Joseph, Michigan is second to none. As the waters begin to warm in the spring, baitfish flock to these waters, bringing the predator fish with them. During this time charter fishing is phenomenal from all of southern Lake Michigan, especially the port of St Joseph. The warm outflow from the St Joseph River and the Cook Power Plant draw large schools of fish from all around Lake Michigan. Large catches of Coho and King salmon are common, as well as great numbers of Lake Trout, Steelhead, & Brown Trout. But with the short season and low prices, dates don't last long, don't miss out on this amazing fishery!
		Latest Fishing Report - May 1st, 2012 Fishing from St Joe has been great so far in 2012! Our first trips onto the water have produced fantastic catches of fish. King Salmon of varying sizes have made up the majority of our catch but there have also been a few Coho Salmon and Lake Trout mixed in as well. Most of the Kings we've taken have ranged in size from 4-15 pounds but we have heard of some around the harbor pushing 20 pounds. The best fishing recently has been in 80-200 feet of water using spoons. It's going to be another fantastic spring season from the waters around St Joseph!	2012 Fishing Information
