	Spring Salmon Charters From St. Joseph, Michigan Lake Michigan April 18th - May 25th, 2012 The springtime salmon fishing in St. Joseph, Michigan is second to none. As the waters begin to warm in the spring, baitfish flock to these waters, bringing the predator fish with them. During this time charter fishing is phenomenal from all of southern Lake Michigan, especially the port of St Joseph. The warm outflow from the St Joseph River and the Cook Power Plant draw large schools of fish from all around Lake Michigan. Large catches of Coho and King salmon are common, as well as great numbers of Lake Trout, Steelhead, & Brown Trout. But with the short season and low prices, dates don't last long, don't miss out on this amazing fishery!
		Latest Fishing Report - 2011 in Review The early season salmon fishing in Lake Michigan was very good in 2011. Our early charters in April produced great catches with Coho Salmon making up the majority of the catch. By late April fishing for Coho slowed dramatically, but by that time the King Salmon had moved in. Fishing from late April through late May provided some fantastic mixed bag fishing with King Salmon ranging from 7-18 pounds making up the majority of our catch. With the baitfish population on the mend in Lake Michigan, 2012 should be another great year with awesome spring fishing from St Joseph!	2012 Fishing Information
